Our Team

Unbridling Your Brilliance is part of Planned Transitions Consulting & Coaching Inc. a unique and innovative collective whose “soul” purpose is to bring individuals one step closer to discovering their authentic selves, resolving issues, and creating sustainable change.

The foundation of the Unbridling program is our partnership with horses, who act as co-facilitators for personal growth and learning. Our equine facilitated programs are highly experiential, allowing participants to interact with the horses at a personal level.

Most of our Personal Coaching, Business Coaching and Healing programs are held at our beautiful retreat centre, in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Special retreats may also be held in other parts of British Columbia and the Lower Mainland.

About Our Facilitators

Linda-Ann Bowling

Linda-Ann Bowling

Master Coach & Intuitive Healer

At the age of 45, I was called by the horses to begin a journey of incredible discovery, possibility, and spiritual connection with nature. Not unlike many thousands of women around the world, I found horses for the first time in my life (or rather they found me).

I am a Master Coach, certified in Business Coaching and Personal Coaching, and have been coaching since 1999. I am absolutely passionate about my work in the field of somatics, movement, language, moods, and emotions. Combining these distinctions with my work with the horses has taken me to incredible depths of joy, freedom, and new expression of my emotional self.

I have studied with some amazing women from the U.S. who are pioneers in the work of Horse Facilitated Experiential Learning. I am an apprentice in Barbara Rector’s, Adventures in Awareness Program out of Tucson, Arizona. You can read about Barbara’s wonderful story of how she got into the field of Equine Facilitated Experiential Learning on her website. My work has also been highly influenced by Linda Kohanov, an internationally recognized innovator in their field of Equine Experiental Learning, and author of The Tao of Equus, Riding Between the Worlds, and Way of the Horse.

I have attended many programs with both of these women, and have also studied with Ariana Strozzi, and numerous other incredible teachers – both two-legged and four-legged here in Canada and the U.S.

I have a strong commitment to authentic leadership and am certified in many “people” based programs including:

I work with people from all walks of life – business owners, salespeople, leaders, organizational professionals and anyone who is seeking a more purposeful, passionate life. My story of the horses can be found on my blog. I would love the opportunity to speak with you about how you can experience the power of learning with the horses!

Equine Guided Learning Facilitator & Coaching Graduate

Horse crazy from birth, but growing up close to the city with little extra money, owning one of these magnificent animals was out of the question. It took great efforts just to save up enough for a few sacred riding lessons or the occasional trail ride.

Now, after 24 years of horse experience and equine education as an adult, I am finally able to marry my passion for helping others, with my intense love of horses.

My qualifications include:

  • Erickson International Life Coach Certificate
  • Equine Guided Learning Facilitator  & Coaching graduate under Linda-Ann Bowling
  • Citation in Equine Studies – Kwantlen University College
  • Level 1 Graduate, Jonathan Field Natural Horsemanship
  • Equine Canada English Rider Level 6
  • Equine Canada Instructor of Beginning Riders Training
